The purpose of this class is to give you not only a better understanding of the fire department and your role as a fire dispatcher, but to give you the tools and knowledge essential for ensuring the utmost safety of our citizens, their property, and our fire personnel in the field.  By the end of this class you will be proficient in fire dispatching and communications.  You will have a good understanding of fire department equipment, response, terminology, and command structure.
